Kill Bill: Volume 1+2 Box Set Specs...Is this the real deal?

In my small local video store me and the clerk/owner were talking about Kill Bil and Volume 2's release on Tuesday...he then showed me a small flyer he claimed too have printed off of the net. It looked pretty offical but some photoshopper's have wayyy too much time on their hands these days. As best as I can remember here is the disc specs for a 3-Disc pack with the uncut Volume 1 and standard Volume 2:

Disc 1:

Asian Cut digitaly mastered in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen
DD 5.1 and DTS 5.1
QT Commentary Track
Trailers and TV Spots

Disc 2:

Standard Theatrical Cut digitaly mastered in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen
DD 5.1 and DTS 5.1
QT Commentary Track
Trailers and TV Spots
Deleted Scene

Disc 3:

10 hours of Bonus Features including:

2 In depth Doucmentaries on the pre priduction, and production
6 Post production featurettes
3 Featurettes detailing the fight scenes in the film
"The Press Junket"-The complete set of interviews and and making of specials that aired leading up too and during the films release

Sounds nice, but seeing as there were no such plans for a release like this and the guy wouldn't tell me where he found it, I think its grade A bullshit he created for his own amusment. But sounds pretty sweet though...don't it?

Well, I hope a box comes out at some point as I would love to add it to the collection.

Peace...

I'm just buying both films as they were theatrically released and that's IT. If Miramax wants more of my money they can come in person and earn it.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I guess I missed it too. What exactly is happening with Kill Bill? Has it been confirmed whether or not there would be another release of both volumes sometime along the future? Or is it just something everyone assumes will happen?

There has been no mention of any Future releases of Kill Bill yet, and I imagine that there won't be for awhile. I'm guessing they want to make all the money they can off of the Volume 2 Bare-bones and THEN let everyone know about the Special Editions and etc.

I got to say...I am amazed how many people are infatuated with this film. I will buy Vol 2 myself (though a pretty slow film at times during the whole Madsen stuff) , but there are so MANY better movies out there. I mean, film is all individual taste but I have to admit, I think this one has almost succeded by virtue of the fact that everyone feels it's cool" to like it....

QT is a very good director but Holy Mackrel

Anyway, looking forward to Vol 2 if only to watch the Jai White fight.

Well I loved it because I was a sword freak and into Japanese culture to begin with. And it just has this vibe that makes me grin ear to ear. Like with Big Trouble in Little China.

Fuck whether it's cool or not, I like "Kill Bill" because it's a movie that I have a blast every single time I watch it. Just like "Pulp Fiction", I could honestly care less about the deeper themes, I'm having fun just watching it.

"Would you give a guy a foot massage?"

"Fuck you."
