Oh snap, I'm glad I waited on this one. I know I was one of the only people who actually enjoyed this movie, but I found it to be hilarious. I'll definately be picking this one up

I'm glad I waited, too. The film was no doubt more successful on video. It's moronic, but it's hard not have some affection for it.

Me, I was unable to hold out. That's why God gave us VIDEO RENTALS, so if there's a double dip we can still see the features.

Nope, 15 extra minutes in the movie plus 22 deleted scenes according to dvdanswers.com. Sounds like a winner to me

Old school just wansn't longer, some scenes were just replaced with different takes of the same scenes. This gives the illusion that not as much footage was changed, when in fact it was.

One of the first examples was the "caught cheating" scene in the beginning of the movie. In the rated version the girl comes out of the bathroom partially clothed, in the unrated she is topless and (maybe bottomless as well) the Andy Dick scenes had alternate angles in the "lessons" scenes in addition to a longer run time.

Is there any word on the first Broken Lizard movie coming out on DVD? I forget what it's called but they made it before they made Super Troopers.

No word, but it was called PUDDLE CRUISER. It is still their best film.

i figured there would be a future special edition, in the commentaries on the first release Broken Lizard make several references to all the cut scenes and i found it odd they weren't included

But i'll probably still get this, i found club dread to be a really funny movie, and the extended cut, deleted scenes and (new?) commentary will be worth the double dip

Also, i hope we get a new transfer, the last release had really bad edge enhancement
