can anyone tell me why the original Major League (argueably best baseball comedy ever made) isn't on disc when its 2 flop sequels are? -okay, the second couldn't have been *too* bad if they made a third...

does it have anything to do with rights or a really bad original print?

Major League II and III's distribution rights belong to Warner Brothers, while the original is Paramount. As for why Paramount has not yet released it,.......who knows.
