DVD materials question

Hi! I'm not sure if this belongs in the software section, but I'll start here anyway. Does anyone know which company(ies) make the actual discs used to make DVDs and how many they make a year? The same goes for the snap cases and keep cases... Who makes those?

I'm just curious...... I would guess companies making these materials would make them in the 100's of millions if not billions to keep up with the ever growing demand....
