ok in the making of featurette on the Vol. 2 disc it shows a old HK Kung Fu flick in which Gordon Liu is fighting Pai Mei, does anyone in here know what film that is from and if it is available on DVD in R1 or R0?

I haven't watched the featurette yet, but the movie is either Fist of the White Lotus or Executioners from Shaolin. Gordon Liu has a brief role in Executioners, but is the star of Fist of the White Lotus, so I would guess it is Fist of the White Lotus. Both are really fun movies and worth checking out either way.

There are a couple of crappy releases of Fist of the White Lotus and Executioners from Shaolin available. They are very poor in quality and are dubbed, but on the bright side side, they are dirt cheap. So if you just want to check out the flicks they won't set you back too much. If you can go region free, I have heard there is a very nice version of Executioners from Shaolin.

The clip is from Lotus.

The Region 3 DVD of Executioners is AWESOME! Straight from the Shaws, Celestial DVD. Widescreen, trailers, etc. But, Lotus has been postponed from a release later this year.
