Oliver Stone box set price Increase? - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I just read somewhere that the Oliver Stone DVD box sets have increased in list price. Amazon has supposedly sent out an email to pre-orderers reflecting this change. Has anyone heard anything about this? It's gone up I think, $70!!

I ordered the 6 movie box set from Amazon, and have received no emails. There are 2 different box sets- one has 6 movies and the other 10, perhaps that's where the confusion lies.

Actually, the story I read said that there was an increase in both box set versions, The 10 disc set was the one where it went up almost $70..

Per review of our website, the Oliver Stone 10 disc DVD box set is on sale
for $193.75. This prices is $83.03 less ( a 30% savings) over the list
price of $276.78.

There you go. This is from Amazon's customer service department...
