X-Files movie
Found an entry on amazon.com for a new version of the X-files movie being released in January -- notable DTS and anamorphic...
...does anyone know if any features from the original dvd are being sacrified for this new release, or is it otherwise identical, with the addition of a DTS track and an (assumably new) anamorphic transfer? |

I'm not sure about other differences, but dvdreview has posted the menus from the new disc. Their thumbnails, so just click on them to expand the picture and see the details of the content.

Thanks -- from the menus, it looks like there's no difference between the new and the old -- except for the anamorphic and the DTS track.
Doesn't look like they've got an actual review up for it...I assume that the transfer would have to be a new one? Wonder how it looks compared to the old one. |
