Oliver Stone set price

Hi all

Hope you're all having a great holiday. I'm stuck in frigid Chicago with no ability to upload new content.

Anyway, I do have email and received an update from Warner on the exact price for the Oliver Stone Collection. Looks like the price is going to be higher than expected. Bummer.

"December 26, 2000 - Previously listed prices for Warner Home Video's Oliver
Stone Collection (available January 16) were misprinted on our previous
press release. The correct prices are as follows:
> DVD GIFTSETS
> 6-Movie Giftset Priced at $166.68 SRP/$119.92 MAP:
> "Any Given Sunday Special Edition Director's Cut" Deluxe Double-Disc Set,
> "Born on the Fourth of July," "The Doors," "JFK Special Edition Director's
> Cut," "Natural Born Killers," "Wall Street," and career retrospective,
> "Oliver Stone's America."
>
> 10-Movie Giftset Priced at $276.78 SRP/$199.92 MAP:
> "Any Given Sunday Special Edition Director's Cut" Deluxe Double-Disc Set,
> "Born on the Fourth of July," "The Doors," "Heaven and Earth," "JFK
> Special Edition Director's Cut," "Natural Born Killers," "Nixon," "Talk
> Radio," "U-Turn," "Wall Street," and career retrospective, "Oliver Stone's
> America."

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings!

Will anyone pay this ridiculous amount for this collection. If true fans will I will be shocked because I'm sure many of us allready own The Doors, Talk Radio, U-Turn, Wall Street and Born on the Fourth of July Thats half of the movies allready. I'm pissed because I would buy this set if it listed for $199 meaning I could probably find it for 120-140 somewhere on the net. Screw that warner is crazy and if I would buy it what would I do with my other Oliver Stone DVDs. Oh and Born on the Fourth is not DTS like the one I have -why would I want it. I'll be shocked if this set sells many copies! Oh and thats roughly $28 a disc who pays that much anyway.
