I bought this blind on high recommendations from friends. Hope the massivly pink/purple set doesn't turn people away from it.

As you put in the disc, Paramount no longer asks you 'PREVIEWS' or 'MOVIE'. Istead 6 trailers are put in front of the Main Menu. You can skip them.

Main Menu pans over many images.

I personally think inserts are useless unless they have some liner notes printed on them.

"Mean Girls" is great...I rolled the entire time. I may be picking this up. Yeah, Paramount doesn't do inserts at all anymore. My sisters "Prince and Me SE" didn't have one, nor did my Paycheck or the Twisted dvds I saw at Video Hut.

I had no interest in seeing the movie but i started to watch bits and pieces here and there form the both and i was liking what i saw (physically and overall good movie wise

) My friend might have an early copy for me this week so i'm keeping my fingers crossed that he pulls through. Thanks again for the pics

Wow, why the hate? It could just be that you're judging her by MEAN GIRLS, in which -- as you suggest -- even I wasn't especially smitten at first glance. But if you've seen her screwball comic genius in HOT CHICK and her truly likeable and genuinely romantic, Classic Hollywood-worthy turn in THE NOTEBOOK, you might see more of what I'm talking about. I was over the top for sure. No real hate, she just doesn't jump out as anything beyond ordinary for me yet. But now that you've reminded me for the second time, she WAS fun in The Hot Chick, so maybe I'll let her re-enter the country now. In fact, I'll reserve her a spot on the Canadian Walk of Fame next to Helen Slater!

She did not impress in Mean Girls, so I guess she's 50/50 for me so far since I did not see The Notebook to break the tie. So I'll keep close watch on her upcoming films "The Wedding Crashers" (Ferrel-Vaughn- Wilson combo alert! And Jane Seymore alert!) and especially Wes Craven's "Red Eye" before totally judging Rachel.
