Just in time for the remake, Lions Gate will release the hit Japanese horror film
"Ju-On" on DVD in Region 1 for the first time.

Although many people have bought the import version from Korea or HK or bootlegged,
The US version will have some exclusive material, and subbed extras.

Another scary movie I'll probably end up getting. Just that shot of the eye makes the hairs on my arm stand at attention. Sarah Michelle Gellar eat your heart out. Who's still waiting for The Ring 2? Yeah, that'd be me.

yeh thats a striking cover, i will most definately being betting this, loved the Ring and Ringu (its pretty kool that the guy doing Ring 2 helmed the original Ringu)

Too bad they changed the name of the film from "Ju-on: The Grudge" to just "Ju-on," which will ensure a slew of confusion when talking about the entire series in order.

I might have to buy this version even though I already have the Korean R3 2-disc edition. Commentary track...
