Three Kings Special Edition?

Hello,

I'm one of the bastards who didn't buy the beautiful DVD that Three Kings is. Tomorrow, I saw the movie in the "normal case" and the tentation was strong. BUT, I read somewhere that a new edition is coming. Can anyone tell me if this is true?

There was one being planned by Warner, probably to coincide with either the theatrical or (more likely) the DVD release of I Heart Huckabees. They had David O. Russell do a new documentary about the state of Iraq now, but they rejected it for being 'too' critical of Bush or something like that. Since then, it seems like the Special Edition might be dead. If you don't have it, I'd wait until the I Heart Huckabees DVD is announced.

There's not a lot of clear information on it, but evidently one is coming at some point. Here's a thread that's already started about (and has some info on) the Three Kings Special Edition:

New release for Three Kings?
