Oliver Stone's "The Hand" Not on DVD - WHY?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082497/combined

There is no reason why "The Hand" Oliver Stone's 2nd movie is not available on DVD, when it is readily available on VHS.

This is the closest thing to a horror film that stone has ever done. It has a severed hand in it, Michael Caine's severed hand in fact. I haven't seen this movie in several years, and I would like to revisit it in a nice anamorphic WS, (don't care if it is feature laden disc)

Get on the ball Warner, assuming you still own it.

I didn't even realize there were a few films he did before those in the new collection... Dammit. Like the Kubrick set, there's just a couple missing... I hate that.

Some more cool tid bits. I was watching Friday the 13th Part 2 the other night and decided to flip through a very old issue of Fangoria which "previewed" F13-2. Well in this same issue was a very in depth interview with Oliver Stone on the set of "The Hand" where he talks about his writing and directing career. A few highlights is he said that he had STARTED FILMING a script called "Born on the Fourth of July" with AL PACINO in the lead role, however, due to financial issues, and Al's lack of availability the thing fell apart. He also mentions a script that he was afraid would never come to pass called... "The Platoon."

Interesting read.
