any reason to keep these double dips?

I am getting ready to sell some recent and upcoming double dips. We have Hellboy, Daredevil, the Thing, and the Rocky collection. Anyone know of a reason to keep the originals?

Re: any reason to keep these double dips?

The two disc version of 'Hellboy' has a commentary by Guillermo Del Toro and Mike Mingola that is not on the three disc DVD set, and the three disc set does not contain the Gerald McBoingBoing (and other) Cartoons that are on the two disc.

I am keeping Hellboy and Daredevil for the reasons JFelix mentioned, as well as the fact they are entirely different cuts.

The Thing I traded off a while ago. I saw no reason to keep it with it not being anamorphic and all the extras being ported over.

The Rocky set I haven't decided on yet. But I imagine that if anything, I will only be keeping the first disc... and even that depends if the extras are ported.

Sentimental value?

Honestly, though, I'm going to keep "Daredevil" because I want to keep the special features. I don't own the 2-disc "Hellboy" so I can't really comment. I guess it comes down to whether or not you like that commentary enough.

i'm keeping hellboy and daredevil. as said previously, they are different cuts of the film and have commentaries not available on the first editions. also, daredevil has some pretty good documentaries that aren't included on the dc.

The reviews I've read on the new DD cut are that the extra scenes really drag the pacing of the film down, don't add much worthwhile, and is a totally inferior version of a film that isn't that strong to begin with. I chose not to double-dip based on that alone.

The two reviews of DD I've read (from ign.com and comics2film.com) were very positive. The guy at comics2film absolutely hated the theatrical version, but said that the director's cut was a vast improvement. Ign said much the same, that it was a deeper, more fleshed out story that actually helped the jagged pacing of the theatrical version.
