I bought this title today (excellent movie

), and the back cover claims that the disc contains a "pod culture retrospective" (which I'm assuming is a making-of doc), as well as trivia and production notes, yet there was no insert, and the only extras on the disc were the Philip Kaufman commentary and the trailer. Is this the same on everyone's copy...?

YOU WERE RIPPED OFF!

I just went and checked my copy. Mine came with an insert.

......an 8 PAGE INSERT! With 13 or so pictures and stories entitled "Sightings", "The Day The Aliens Cameo'd", and the biggie "Pod Culture: 45 Years Of Co-Existence With The Body Snatchers"..

THAT is one funny scene!

That scene ranks up there with some of the WEIRDEST movie scenes I've ever seen.. right next to that scene in The Shinning.. with that dude dressed up in that bear costume..

If anyone is interested, I found the new collector's edition at Wal-Mart for $15. The release has been delayed until 9/11/07.

Hm... didn't know that. I've seen it at Walmart for the past two weeks and never picked it up. I hope it doesn't end up like Ed Wood getting pulled from release over and over.
