Slappy and the Stinkers

Not sure why this hasn't been posted yet. If it has and I've missed it, just close this one I guess.

From DVD Answers:
Quote:
Columbia Tristar Home Entertainment has announced first time releases of Magic in the Water which stars Mark Harmon, Sarah Wayne and Joshua Jackson, Ride the Wild Surf which stars Fabian, Shelley Fabares and Tab Hunter and Slappy and the Stinkers which stars B. D. Wong, Bronson Pinchot and Joseph Ashton. Each will be available to own from the 4th January next year, and should retail between $14.94 and $19.94 a piece. The only extra material included on any of these, will be trailers for other Columbia releases.

A murderer in their midsts.

I would have bought it blind.

Waitaminit....

Slappy and the Stinkers

Stanky and the Coalminers

There HAS to be a connection!!!

That's RIGHT: JOHN STANKY AND THE COALMINERS!!!

John Stanky, the "Gentleman Of Polkas"! John began his musical career in 1945. He formed his first band in 1950, changing their name to the "Coalminers" in 1962, as some of the players worked the mines.

To date, the group has recorded many albums, and has performed on cruise ships as well as numerous tours to Holland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, South America, China and many other fabulous places.

John has composed more than 40 songs. His most popular is the "Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie Polka". His "Hats Off To Pennsylvania" is being considered for the state song.

(This lame attempt at humour goes out to the fine region of Northeastern Pennsylvania...)
