Help me ID this Horror Flick (pretty please?)

Okay, I will admit....I smoked a bit of the wacky weed as a teen...but I swear this movie exists. However, the bits I remember are hazy so please bear with me.....

Okay, this flick was in the 80's....I am thinking between 1982-1985 (cause of who I was dating!)

Here comes the hazy bits and pieces

Teens going to a movie theater, but they had to get "special" tickets. Perhaps someone in the street handed the tickets to certain people? What happened on the screen started to happen in real life??
A weird scene in a bathroom?
Or was it that if you got cut by the ticket you turned into a monster or something???

Was there acid in what I smoked? Quite possibly.....

The wacky weed may have helped with this flick (I dig it, I must admit). It sounds very much like Dario Argento's Demons, directed by Lamberto Bava.
