This movie is ass.

You don't want to see it.

It horribly copies elements from The Ring/Ringu.

Has some of the worst acting evarrrrrr.

But it has this great scene...

This woman is investigating the death of another and goes to visit the victims mother. Typical incestigation bullshit happens and the mother reveals that her daughter was a hemophiliac. Mere seconds later the investigator shows a picture and asks the mother if she recognizes the location. She replies "That looks like the abandones steel mill she used to play at."

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

The movie is ass.

I am also assuming, that since www.fear.com is owned by someone, then they had change the url in the movie and filmsite, to the ridiculously stupid... www.feardotcom.com

It was awful.
Saw it in the theater, thought it sucked.
a year later bought the DVD cheap, hoping it would play better at home, it didn't. But the DVD does have the deleted mushroom people seen....

I've seen this movie. It sucks.

Idea of Internet-related deaths is very similar to the Japanese movie, Kairo (AKA Pulse), but this movie puts a serial killer spin to it.

I bought the Dvd for $5, watched it once and gave it away.
Has to be one of the worst movies i've ever seen.

on my "GIGLI SCALE" (with 1 being Gigli(really really horribly bad, and 10 being the exact opposite) it is a 2

The movie is visually stunning. Plays out like a perverse nightmare. I don't need standard narrative elements to be satisfied by a film.

One of the few movies EVER that I rented and didn't bother watching till the end.

Natasha McElone (SP?) was the only good part in it...
