Grease and Footloose

I had heard these 2 movies are involved in
legal problems, which is delaying their release on DVD. Has there been any breakthroughs yet?

Yes there are several groups/petitions out their trying to keep these movies off DVD. Just kidding, but what's with Travolta and Bacon man?

Edit: and no i don't mean John Travolta's bacon eating problem, different topic for a different time.

Personally I'd love to see Footloose on DVD. Assuming it's a soundtrack licensing problem, without checking my VHS, from memory there are only two non-Sony/CBS/Columbia tracks on the actual film soundtrack and I would hope Paramount can still use the Columbia tracks, otherwise we may never see the movie on DVD. They couldn't even use the title song :P

I'd even like to see Flashdance on DVD and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
