Offhand, I can't remember if it's also used on the Bug's Life DVD. It certainly looks like the work of Pixar, and I like it, even though it's a little long. It's fun, self-deprecating (something Lucas and his gang don't do very often) and nowhere near as loud as the original.

Both the TS, and TSII trailers are Theatriical trailers. I first saw the cow trailer when I saw Men in Black. The Tex trailer(where the THX logo breaks) has been arround for quite a while. It was even available on the TS collectors edition LD.

There are accually two different versons of teh Tex trailer. The one on the TSII disc,a dn a longer one where the little guy drops something and hurts himself. Quite cool accually.

PS this is after about 3 shots of Rum, so if it looks strange, that is why

I haven't seen the THX trailer on Toy Story, but I have seen the Tex trailer at various movies I've seen that the theater (like Star Wars Episode I). I thought it was kinda cute the first time.

I LOVE the THX trailer on T2 - Ultimate Edition. I watched that about three times in a row after I first got the DVD. I thought that rocked!

I also have the "THX Wow!" LD so I have the "traditional" THX trailer, with the longer starting sounds, and the THX trailer at the beginning of Independence Day (LD at least) with the red "fire bits" floating around.

Peace.....
