The Philadelphia Story - 2 Disc SE (3/1/2005)

WOOOOOOOOOOO. This is me doing a victory lap around the neighborhood in my birthday suit. This is seriously the best news I have heard on the DVD front since the Star Wars DVDs were announced. I've been waiting, holding out hope for a 2 Disc-er of this title for 2 years now.

There are no specs as of yet, however I PRAY with my whole heart that this film is treated to the classic Warner 2 Disc cardboard packaging. I'd love to have it displayed on my shelf alongside the other wonderful DVDs Warner has given us.

Maybe I should start a petition now.

Here is the artwork. It is pretty good. While not eye catching, it does stay true to the Original poster art, which I love. Good stuff.

Excellent news! Nice to see them doing this for so many beloved classics, too.

One of my favorite movies! I have the previously released DVD (the one with the black & white cover), but this movie is worth a double-dip.
