Bird or Mo Better Blues: which did you like better?

I watched Bird for the first time over the weekend and really enjoyed it. It brought back memories of "Mo Better Blues" and "Lady Sings the Blues," which I also enjoyed.

Which movie about a musician (or musicians) did you enjoy the most?

Peace...

BIRD and MO' BETTER are about neck and neck, with BIRD probably getting a slight edge for an uncanny portrayal of a real person's demons and Clint's obvious respectful love of the music. Spike's movie is obviously a pretty personal one too, though less of a real-life bio, and more of a battle-of-the-sexes diatribe, albeit one with smooth performances by Denzel and Wesley.

Bird by a wide margin. Great story along with an awesome, criminally overlooked performance by Forest Whitaker (along with the rest of the cast).

Wow... MO' BETTER BLUES is my favorite Spike Lee film and I love it so I have to go for MO' BETTER!! I thouht Bird was actually quite boring!! However there was a lot of respect for the music in that film however I felt like Bird's demons Clint didn't really want to explore!! However as far as entertainment i'd have to side for MO' BETTER!
