Anybody know of any reviews of the movies in this set yet?

I was just looking this set up on Best Buy. While more of an overview of the movie than an actual review of the dvd this is the best thing I could find (beware it looks like it contains spoilers): http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....9&type=product

With that being said, this is a no brainer. These are fantastic gangster flicks that I have been waiting to see on DVD. And they even contain the Warner Bros Bug's Bunny cartoonn gangster spoofs, a guilty pleasure of mine.

Home Theater Forum has posted an excellent review of the must-have boxed set today.

Anyone know if there are any plans to release these movies seperatly?

Although, I have been waiting for three of these for a while now, so I might just plunk down the $55 and pick them all up.

DVD Beaver has posted its own review of the Box set, with screenshots. They've named it their Feature DVD of the Month, and give it 5 stars (out of 5).

Warner has simultaneously released these DVDs individually, but there's a pretty big savings by buying the set (MSRP is $68.95 for the set & $119.70 if purchased separately). The set can be found online for around $48---which is only eight bucks per film. Can you say "No-Brainer"?

This is like Christmas Eve when I was a kid. I've looked forward to getting 5 of these movies on DVD for so long (I'm not enamoured with Petrified Forest). I bought each one of these movies on VHS eons ago for $29.99 cdn. each. Now I'm getting 6 of them for $59.99. Sometimes you've got to love life.

Anyone know what this is going for at Best Buy? I know the website says $54.99 but sometimes the instore price is different. For example the Twilight Zone season 1 is $103 in stores but $119.99 online.

In Canada, in Toronto, I bought this set at Future Shop the day it was released. I went to Best Buy first, they looked around for it for 20 minutes and I gave up and went to Future Shop at Eglinton and Laird. Found a bunch of them there $59.99.
