Title: National Treasure
Starring: Nicolas Cage
Released: 3rd May 2005
SRP: $29.95

Further Details
Disney has sent over revised artwork for National Treasure which stars Nicolas Cage alongside Diane Kruger, Jon Voight, Harvey Keitel and Sean Bean. The film will be available to own from the 3rd May in seperate widescreen and full screen editions. Each should set you back around $29.95 a piece. Extras on both will include deleted scenes and an alternate ending with optional director's commentary, an opening scene animatic with optional director commentay, a National Treasure On Location feaurette, a Knights Templar featurette, a Treasure Hunters Revealed featurette, a Riley's Decode This featurette plus three puzzling challenges. We've attached another look at the official region one artwork below:

I've heard some good things about this movie and am looking forward to the DVD. No mention of any feature-length commentary. I wonder if it has a 'hidden' commentary that isn't advertised or listed on the package. Buena Vista has had several releases like that in the past.

I'll be buying lots of Disney discs on May 3rd. National Treasure is a sure thing and unless they aren't in WS I'll be picking up the last 3 Hayley Mills Disney theatrical releases that day (That Darn Cat, Summer Magic & In Search Of The Castaways).

The theatrical artwork was terrible, so the case art is likewise disappointing.

However, I loved the film and all the history. Must buy.
