What's new about the Pink Floyd -- The Wall being re-released today?
Digital Bits (and other sources) show that a new disc of THE WALL is being released today? Having wanted this for a long time but never made the effort to pick up the old version, does anyone know the difference? Many thanks.

Since every store I've ever been in has been cutting this disc's price to get it off the shelves, I suspect a reissue is indeed the case.

Only the packaging is new, I believe.
From what I've heard everything from the transfer, audio tracks, extras, and menus are from the first (?) release.

The dvd already has a thread in our Music Forum here So i shall clos ethis thread and ask for discussion to continue in the original thread linked above.
We've had the re-release (new packaging and fold out poster) in Canada for over a month now on our shelves. :p
