So should I say $6412.45 and then list all 572 DVDs I have? Or just start from today?

Are we counting purchases made with gift cards here? I've always wrestled with counting them as money spent or as gifts when it comes to my own spreadsheets.

About $2 so far for Friday Night Lights. The rest of that purchase price along with Metallica: Some Kind of Monster were made with gift cards, reward certificates, and trade-in credit.

I saw a thread like this on Home Theater SPot once but it was the amount of money spent on Mitsubishi gear as a direct result of information obtained through the forum. So if someone got a question answered or got a recommendation on the forum that was the deciding factor in their buying Mits gear, they posted the dollar amount spent in that thread. I believe the dollar figure was around $700k the last time I checked back in 2003.

Thus far in 2005, I haven't bought any DVDs.

Peace...

As does the little lady.

Stay away from Jenna Escapades though. I thought it would be her having her way with other starlettes/friends, but it's all one chick in front of a camera garbage. The only sex on it is in the bonus features.

I will be cutting down on DVD purchases after spending $1200-1500 per year for the last 3 years.

So far, just $14.99 on Back to the Future trilogy (used my last Best Buy $5 off Reward Zone coupon).

King of Kings Criterion - $28.99
It's All True - $9.99
George Carlin Collection - $60

That means an estimated $1128 for the entire year. I better cut back
