Lucky Numbers
Have to say that even though this movie sucked major rectum, I'm disappointed that there's not more on the DVD- specifically deleted scenes. While the movie was filming on location in Harrisburg, PA and environs, I had to the chance to work on the film for two days as a stand in for Chris Kattan. What's that you say? You don't recall Kattan being in the movie? That's because his one scene was cut. Being the film buff I am, I took advantage of being in the center of activity to take a lot of mental notes on how director Nora Ephron shot the scene to see how she was going to edit it together. A rather unique learning experience, now lost. Bummer. . .
Hey maybe Criterion will. . .,nah. |

Is the movie truly that bad? I'm not a big Travolta fan anymore but I do enjoy looking at Lisa Kudrow so I was thinking about giving this one a spin.
Is it really not worth the money to rent it or are there at least a laugh or two out of it? ------------------ "They're us....we're them!" -Damian |

I paid $5 to see it and felt the only entertaining part of the movie was finding familar landmarks (Some anachronistic) from the area they shot in close to my parents house. Example, when Travolta and Roth are walking across the busy highway to the diner in the background you can see the sign for the K-Mart my dad used to be general manager for. The anachronism is that that version of the sign was put up about 10-12 years after when the movie takes place. (OK maybe that's interesting to about me and three other people on the planet, 2 of them being my folks, but I thought I'd share anyway.)
