Hello, does anyone have an idea if this is still being planned from Dreamworks and if so, any idea of a release date? I just watched thie movie this morning and love it.

Yes it is still planned. I'm not sure if it is a "director's cut," but it will have extra footage.

It's coming at some point, but no word on a date. It probably won't be this year.

As far as I know it exists only in a rough cut form. And since Crowe is currently working on Vanilla Sky (and will be doing so for some time), I wouldn't expect to see it until next year, at the earliest.

If it comes this year, I'll be pleasantly surprised. I just don't see how he could work on cutting that and post-production on Vanilla Sky at the same time. I, personally, would rather he focus on one at a time.
