To be thorough, I double checked my answer at www.imdb.com

According to them, both Legends of the Fall & Sleepers are on DVD.

However, I was curious about one of Damian's answers (sorry, guy, no offense). According to imdb, Jack is not on DVD. At least, not on Region 1. I don't know if that makes a difference, but if it does:

Jennifer Lopez was in The Cell, with Vincent D'Onofrio, who was in JFK, with Kevin Bacon.

Ahhhhh...I forgot about the DVD thing when I started doing the research. If I remember correctly though, just about ALL those actors can be connected to Kevin Bacon through JFK. There was such an all star cast in that movie it would be hard NOT to be able to trace it back to somebody in that movie.
I think I was just trying to break up the JFK monotany, forgetting they had to connect VIA movies on DVD.

All movies are on DVD. The only problem is I couldn't connect Charlie Chaplin to Kevin Bacon DIRECTLY via a movie that is on DVD.

Here is a tough one for you but it can be done.

I don't know if you'd consider footage from one movie inserted into another "cheating" BUT

Charlie Chaplin was in "The Kid" with Jackie "Uncle Fester" Googan.

Footage from "The Kid" was used in the movie "Chaplin" with Dan Aykroyd, who was in "Blues Brothers" with John Belushi who was in "Animal House" with Bacon.

Also, Coogan was in "Space Children." Footage from THAT movie was used in the trailer retrospective "It Came From Hollywood," hosted by Aykroyd, blah blah blah

(Note...not a DVD connection, this is just something we use to play when we were configuring computers at my old job)

One thing that I have noticed when playing the regular version of the game is that to connect most current movie stars to Kevin Bacon you need only four movies.
JFK
Sleepers
A Few Good Men
Apollo 13
Of course, the whole Bacon canon helps, but these four movies (which I think have all been used already) contain most of the current big names in Hollywood that everyone tries to work with.
These will more than likely not help with the older actors, but you never know...

My first entry had a movie that wasn't on DVD which I later apologized for and corrected. I'm pretty certain most of the other posts were all on DVD except those where noted that they would NOT be. Like the last one staring that guy I never heard of.
