I am glad I held off on the Maserworks version of Ran. I heard bad things about it, but was going to spend just as much as a criterion on it since it is the only one available right now. Now I just have to wait. Bresson's au hasard Balthasar will probably make it into my library. I only wish they would give us his other work Le Diable, Probablement, which is one of my favorite movies.

Unfortunately, that title belongs to New Yorker. Artificial Eye (R2 PAL UK) is expected to release it later this year.
