i did a search for 'dallas' and came up with 5 pages of threads, but none dealing directly with the season sets.

does anyone know what the release schedules are like for this classic show? Season 1 and 2 are out now in one box, but I would have really liked to have dropped a huge wad of cash on the entire series and watched an episode a night for a year. This is one of those shows that I was never into and just paid attention to in passing as my parents watched it almost non stop from the time I was born until the early 90's. Its something I grew up with though and I'd like to give it a go because it was always on in our house. I just want to know if I am going to have to wait for 5 or more years for the whole series to get released ?

all i know is that warner executives stated at last week's on-line chat that season 3 will be out this summer. no word though on the release shedule after that:

[WarnerHomeVideo] DALLAS Season 3 is coming this Summer. KNOT'S LANDING is under consideration for the future. No plans for FLAMINGO ROAD (The TV series, not the Joan Crawford movie), and FALCON CREST is also under consideration.
