Camera to DVD

Is their anyway you can burn the pics from a digital camera onto a cd that will allow you to view them on your tv with a home dvd player?
I'm thinking you can only because some dvd movies in there menu section have pics of the actors you can scroll thru.

If your DVD player supports VCDs and CD R, then you could compile your photos into a VCD format, burn them to a CD and Bob's your uncle.

Just did a quick search on NorthernLight.com and I think this is what you're looking for:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/burnmpg.htm

Just scroll down to the section that says, "How to make a VCD/SVCD Photo Album."

Hope that works for you. By the way, there's a list of VCD compatible players on the site (your manual should specify whether it plays VCDs and CDRs too.)
