Welcome to the forum Kirby!
![]() My best guess would be a professional shop that could transfer them for you, though I really don't know. ------------------ 1138 - DVD File Forum Greeter Odo: You'd shoot a man in the back?! Garak: It's the safest way, isn't it? |

Unless you can buy your own recordable DVD player (which I think are in the 2500 dollar range), OR one of the Mac G4s with a built-in DVD-R drive (I think in the 3500-dollar range), you'll just have to ask around video copying services, and see what they charge. Problem with that is, many of them might not make a copy of something that is copyrighted, like a pro football game. You know the drill: "Any unautorized use or recording of the game, in whole or in part, without express written consent of the NFL is strictly prohibited" or words to that effect. If it were your own Pop Warner games as a kid that you want to keep forever, no problemo.
OR just find someone who has the recordable DVD player or drive, and become best friends with them. OR consider recording onto Video CD. It's cheaper than DVD. Obviously the pic isn't as good, but it'll never get worse, unlike the VHS tapes that are deteriorating as we speak. |

Kirby - sorry I can't offer you any help here, but please let us know how you got on via a post. I live in the UK and I've got quite a few footie tapes (soccer to you folks in the States)that I'd like to get transferred to DVD.
