What about Muppets Take Manhattan?

I am glad I waited all this time to get The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper.

I am starting to watch this muppet set tonight and I gotta tell you, unlike a lot of other nostalgia buys, this one is holding up really well. Unfortunately, just watching it makes me sad thinking about the fact that Henson is no longer with us. Since his death, muppets just haven't quite been the same.

Sadly its not part of the deal with Disney. Columbia Tri-Star own the rights to this movie along with Muppets From Space.

Now as for the movies i know my family will gobble them up. Lets hope that the XMas Carol edition actually includes some extras because i know there are plenty. Like the Disney behind the scenes, a missing song that was included on the soundtrack and a Widescreen transfer.

Did anyone else purchase the Muppet Show season 1?
In the DVDFile review, the reviewer says that the box on his is green and yellow felt covered. Mine isn't that way. It is just a normal box.
Also he says that the Muppet Morsels are on 5 episodes of disc 4. Mine has them on all episodes.

I'm confused.

I'll finally be able to retire my Japanese Christmas Carol which although widescreen isn't 16x9.

I just saw it at work and the box is the green and yellow felt one. It looks very cool, and I might try and buy it.

from digitalbits.com

By the way, we've been getting a lot of questions about this from panicked fans: Disney's upcoming Muppet feature film DVDs (The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, Muppet Treasure Island and The Muppet Christmas Carol - due 11/19) will each include BOTH full frame and anamorphic widescreen video. That's confirmed, direct from the studio. So endeth the controversy.

sounds like good news.
