Why doesn't the Superman 1 DVD have the poster printed on it? - DVDfile.com forum for DVD, Blu-Ray, and HD-DVD

I thought it was odd that the posters for II and III are printed on their disks. But, none for the first.

Maybe because each side of the disk has content. Usually a disk only has artwork when there's only content on one side. Correct me if I'm wrong...

dvdrcha: you are correct, it's a DVD18, which means double sided, dual layered.

II & III are single sided, dual layered.

IV is single sided, single layered.

All according to the DVD File reviews.

Just to make sure OneofRyan, you know that there are more special features on the second side, right? Don't want you missing out on anything.

Yeah, I accidentally placed the second side of the DVD in, and turned it on. I was like, uh, where is the movie?
