Yeah Yeah. Kane is finally in the house. I can't wait I am so pumped about this. Damn it, that annoucment blew the shit out of any other one this year. Including Ep.1 and all that other stuff. Finally one that is a must own and a reality. Any one else excited?

I am SUPER excited by this. This is so exciting! I love Kane. It's so beautiful and dark.

This is on a level for me with the announcement of Jaws last year, hehe.

It's about time they did Kane though. There's so many great titles that haven't been touched yet.

It should be interesting to see how this newfound print looks. It is quite exciting.

Yes! Very excited to see.

My VHS copy of Kane has about had it at this point, although it's served me well. It deserves a nice retirement. It should be interesting to see what kind of interesting things we get on the disc too.

Lets hope they have a commentary by welles on this disc..ok, ok, please stop flaming now. Seriously, I hope they go full throttle with this disc and make it one of the best DVD's ever. Anything less than a spectacular disc would be a huge dissapointment. Maybe they could find a way to put that RKO 281 movie on this disc, as it would be a great supplement to view. Just my 2 cents

They could actually piece together from interviews enough Welles quotes to do a non-screen specific commentary.

I'm really looking forward to Kane. Too bad it has to come in that crappy snapper case. Somehow cheapens it....

I am so glad that this film is finally seeing the light of day on DVD. Sometimes I think we tend to forget how groundbreaking this film is while we wait on more high profile releases. Hopefully what the producer(s) put on the disc will convey that fact.

I'm really looking forward to this one as well, but not nearly as much as Phantom Menace. I guess I fall into the category of people who think that Kane is a great movie, but there is no way it is the greatest movie ever made. Just my opinion.
