IGN gave it a ridiculous review, so now i want to see it. i didnt have high hopes for it, but its got Keira, so that's good

Ok, I think I know why people have a problem with this movie. They are upset because the Blu-Ray release has not come out yet. I'm sure once it's out on Blu-Ray, people will love it even more!

I started to watch it Saturday night after a couple beers had numbed the system, and had to turn it off after about 40 seconds due to the Mtv editing cut flurry that had me wanting to hurl.

Tried it again the next night clean and sober and found that it was just...ok.

I'm amazed and shocked that nobody's stooped to mention, so I'll do it...boobies! A shocking plus from this young actress. I know the character turn was to try and downplay her posh princess characters, but I wasn't expecting her to break out the twins!

She's been nude in a few films now. It always bothers me when actresses do this. It just becomes internet fodder.

Shouldn't it bother you that the writer/director call for it more then the actress doing it? It's not like she just suddenly decided to pull her top off, it's written into the scene.

Absolutely. I fault both parties. I think that directors need to understand, that unless the script really calls for it, nudity is a mistake. If you want to hire playboy models to take their gear off for a Porky’s-type film, that’s fine. I can’t tell you how many people tell me they’re going to see a certain film because so and so is naked. And I know that studios can and have used this as a marketing device.

I just hate to see talented a actress like Keira become fodder for internet porn sites. I truly believe that when they take their clothes off (most times) they believe it’s for the sake of art, and that art gets sullied by celebrity rags and websites. I was ecstatic when Portman decided not to disrobe in Closer.

This, of course, is just my opinion.

I didn't say it was porn, I said it was put on porn sites. I remember when that film "Twilght" came out with Reese Witherspoon. I was on a link dump site and a popup appeared that said:

SEE REESE NUDE!!!!

If I were a filmmaker, I wouldn't want my actors subjected to that kind of thing.

The director cut them. She filmed them but the director cut them out because he grew very fond of her and didn't want that scene left in the final version.

That was a decision made by Mike Nichols, who became very "fatherly" of her.

I heard she was in on that decision. The interview I read said that she "wasn’t happy with the scene.” That could mean a few things, but that's really beside the point.

I think your missing the point of what I'm saying. I'm not saying they are forced to do the scenes, I'm saying I think it would be smarter not to do them at all. There are some films that require the nude scenes, but I feel that most do not. I'm only talking about exploitation in the sense that the material that was filmed for the film is now on all these "adult" websites.
