What can be worse than Battlefield Earth???

Kiss and Tell:
http://movies.netflix.com/MovieDispl...01067&trkid=73

It stars Heather Graham, Justine Bateman, Rose McGowan and a few others.

It's like they tried to do a "Twin Peaks" kind of movie..... Worth renting just to see what could be worse than Battlefield Earth....

Peace.....

Try checking out a movie by the name of "Omega Doom" starring one of the kings of crap, Rutger Hauer. It sucks big time - and it's available on DVD as a double feature with "Blind Fury".

Okay okay, well, I've got my arsenal, I'm sealed in a metal dome, got food supply, you may begin attack after the following message:
I LOVED BattleField Earth, seen it twice in theaters, bought a DVD, love Travolta, Scientology RULES, is more thought out, helpful and believable than the oppressing "love-thy-enemy-he-hits-you-kiss-his-feet" bible shit with kiss god's ass and be his slave or he will strike down upon thee christianity!

As a general rule. I avoid anything with Rose McGowan. I think she is probably the absolute WORST actress in Hollywood today. Any movie I've seen her in totally sucked (other then the orignal Scream mainly because she died a most awsome way) so I usually run the opposite direction when anything comes on screen with her name on it.

Actually, I enjoyed Ms. McGowan's nipples in Scream and I liked watching her "get down and dirty" in Jawbreaker......

Peace.....

Well...Nipples aside, she's still a crappy actress.
And she was getting down and dirty with Maralyn Manson in that movie (b-friend at the time) so that scene didn't really do much for me.

Admins, you may need to move this to Off Topic because I just can't stop myself from saying:

What the fuck are you talking about? Scientology is a crock of shit. It is in no way more believable than Christianity, nor is it more helpful (I can be a Christian without having to give up all my money to the church.) I can't even begin to say all the things wrong with Scientology, but let me just say that it's NOT a religion, it's not even a cult. It's a bunch of misguided fools giving their money to an institution based on a bad science fiction novel. It's a business, nothing more. Deckard, I pity you.
[/angry rant]

Edit: By the way, I'm a buddhist, not a Christian, but that's besides the point.

STOP!

Okay people. . .please keep this thread on topic. No more rants about religion in this topic or in the Software forum in general. Please start a new topic in the Off Topic forum if you feel like responding to either BeanBandit or Deckard, but please don't post it here. That's why we have an Off Topic area.

The topic is: "What can be worse than Battlefield Earth???"

As in: what movies or DVDs; not which faith is worse.

Okay?

Thank you. You're beyond the best.

Hehe, I just posted it to piss someone off, it worked, some people are predictable.
And about which movie can be worse? Well I think B Earth was trashed a little too much unfairly, while there are definetly much worse pieces of crap released, this year alone, look at Tomcats, Say it isn't So, or last year's similar Body Shots. All these 20-something dating movies are so boring. At least battlefield earth tried to do something new, and it is not a scientology propaganda, just angst-ridden believers whose mind is clouded by their religion too much are ready to bite off anyone's head off. Notice how people of different religions always attack each other, in various forms. Same is becoming with movies, if someone lists one in this string of posts for example, and it is one of the favorites of someone, he will come here to defend it heh. Ahh.. whats the point, its all talk..yaaawn

Don't. We don't want people around here posting merely to piss people off. It's not fun, it causes trouble, and couteracts what the point of the forum is.

Back to the topic at hand: quite often, 'bad' movies are still popular despite critic's universal disdain for said movies. The fact that BFE had the critic disdain and that it tanked show that it was a trully horid movie. And because more critics than actual viewers probably saw it (j/k), and said critics see lot's of bad movies, and said critics pretty much declared it as the worst, it probably was. Just do a search through the forums for some reviews of the movie. People saw it expecting some campy awfulness to luagh at ended up saying that is was just too bad for even that.

I don't think I would have gone as far as some with on off topic comments.

I do want to say that I did enjoy watching BE. Even though its not the greatest movie I've ever seen it is still rewatchable!

Too me some of the characters were a bit melodramatic and not enough blood to make things realistic during fight scenes. Other than that it was decent.
