Burt Reynolds' best movie on DVD

I was watching Boogie Nights last night and wondered which movie, that's out on DVD, you think is Burt Reynolds' best movie.

He looked terrible in Driven and Cloud 9. He was fun in the "Smokey and the Bandit" movies and in Cannonball Run but I thought he nailed his role in Boogie Nights perfectly.

Peace...

I'm not really a BR fan, but...

As for his DVDs, I'd have to go with Boogie Nights...or Cop and 1/2.

If you like romantic Comedies then I would recommend "Starting Over". There is a film called "W.W. and the Dixie Dancekings" he made in the 70's which I am fond of, but I do not think that even made VHS. Other than that O would say "The Longest Yard" (original) and "Smokey and the Bandit" (original) are the best choices.

Deliverance comes to mind. Aside from that one, and The Longest Yard, and Boogie Nights, most of his well-known films are high-grossing B-movies.

Boogie Nights is definitely the best DVD of his movies. As far as his best movie on DVD, I'll vote for Smokey or Boogie.

Id have to agree with these 3. I would rate his performance equally,(moreso between Deliverance & Boogie Nights)
