I loved Black Hawk Down, but I heard that only 8 minutes were added to the extended cut, so I doubt it's worth it. Only other title of interest this week would be the Dazed and Confused Criterion, and that would be a blind buy.

Pre-ordered: John Ford Film Collection.

Hey, SeanL: If you are even remotely interested in any of those other Ford films in the collection, you might look at getting the collection. I was going to get The Searchers alone (one of my top 5 films at least). But as a Welles and Ford fan, I was also interested in several other titles as well, and did some math.

The Searchers is going for approx. $29.00 The complete set is going for $56-$58. Stagecoach is also a 2-disc set, and goes for approx. $20-21. Those 2 films alone almost cost as much as the set!

The color of the DVD version of She Wore a Yellow Ribbon (oscar winner for its stunning photography) is amazing on DVD, and 3 Godfathers will likely be as impressive. If 2 (or 3) films in the set are appealing, you gotta get the set. I am an Amazon Prime member, so the set cost $55.46 w/free 2-day shipping. Next best option is DDD.
