Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the scariest films on DVD. It still scares me after all these years.

One of the scariest films that needs to be put on DVD is Cronenberg's The Brood. This is one disturbing film that needs the dvd treatment.

Rogue 2, that movie's always scared me and is the only movie that has really scared me. I suppose the reason you thought of that was the chase scene at night. That's still scary, but it's not so much now that I've heard the commentary. Now I can't help but get distracted by the fact that Gunner had to keep stopping and waving his chainsaw around every 10 feet so he doesn't catch up to her!

I don't care what the backlash says, "Blair Witch Project" scared the living snot out of me. Moreso than any movie I've ever seen, I think.

Porkchop,

I meant to mention Blair Witch and I forgot to. That did scare me as well because, although when I went to see it first in the theatre I had found out it was fake, I still couldn't help but tensely anticipate what might come up next at any moment. Especially during the "tent shaking" scene and then of course at the end. I suppose the detractors would say that anticipation was for nothing because nothing ever came, but it still scared and entertained me. I bought the DVD because, if nothing else, it is a different type of filmmaking.

On a side note, that's not too far off topic, I got through the first Blair Witch game last week, so I got to see what happened to them at the end!
