I was wondering if anyone knew how to differentiate between the 2 disc and dvd-18 versions of the movie by the packaging, because I am thiking of purchasing this title but I would prefer the 2 disc set. Thanks a lot.

IIRC, There should be a sticker or a label on the packaging that states.

"6 hours of content on 1 DVD" - if it's the DVD18 (single double sided disc.)
or
"6 hours of content on 2 DVDs" - if it's the 2 disc set.
