View Askew Commentary Query

Yes, hello, I just got the Dogma SE, and I have a question about the previous Kevin Smith DVDs. Firstly, is the Chasing Amy commentary in a traditional Criterion fashion, where all the participants are seperate? Or is it like the other Smith-and-co Commentaries where it's a rowdy bunch of nogoodniks talkin' trash?

Also, the video commentary on the Dogma SE doesn't work on my Toshiba player (I'm not asking for this to be confirmed, because I looked it up in the glitch exhaust), I'm just wondering if any Toshiba DVD Player owners can tell me if the Mallrats video commentary (it does have one, right?) has the same glitch.

Thank you and good evening.

Amy is a group comm, and both the Dogma and Mallrats video comms work on my Toshiba.

Actually, I just got Dogma SE just this weekend, and the video commentary didn't pop up for me either! I've got an SD-1200 btw. I havent tried it since, but I do have another problem which I'm going to post on the glitch page soon.

I don't wanna offend anybody, but you guys do know that you have to physically hit enter whenever the Buddy Jesus pops up?

It's not an automatic thing.

Apologies if you knew that.

And you have to select the video segments 'On' from the commentary menu as well.

It's a fair point, but I did select the video commentary and the Buddy Christ didnt pop up at all during the commentary. I had to stick it in my puter and play it there to actually see any of it. I'm going to try it again on the machine to see what happens, but I'm more worried about the fact that at a certain point in the movie my player freezes, every time. It's recoverable, but damn annoying. But thats way off topic

I can never get this feature (or others like it on X-Men, The World is Not Enough, etc.) to work properly on our older Toshiba. Either there's nothing or worse, there's always something even if it is turned off.
