1. Best Packaging: Gladiator - really like that case.
2. Best Booklet: T2? It's the only one coming to mind. Paper's too damn thick, though, and the case doesn't want to close. Scratch that, the book sucks. I don't have a favorite.
3. Best Extras: A Bug's Life CE
4. Best Sound: Saving Private Ryan
5. Best Price: Gladiator for $14.99.
6. Most Watched: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

8. Least Features: the original Image Silence of the Lambs. What a crappy disc!
9. Big Impulse Buy: The Gift
10. Overall Best: Fight Club
11. Total # of discs: somewhere between 200-300.

12( I'm adding one to the list)Worst Packaging-...Unbreakable ...why can't they all use keep cases

i really like the cool cases on some of these flix, i share the opinion that variety on those dvd shelves makes all the difference.
i love looking down at a plethora of favorites in cool packs, rather than some generic row of assembly line keepcases. dont get me wrong, snappers are a bitch, they just seem chessy and unwieldy, but i love the various cases that house my collection. that said:

1. Best Packaging? SEVEN wouldve been UNBREAKABLE but you cant put the disc "insert" in so that the title displays correctly. (those who care, know)
2. Best Booklet? FIGHT CLUB solely based on he fact that it rips on itself, shows BOTH sides of the critic drama.
3. Best Extras? I'll second the T2/The ABYSS battle
4. Best Sound? U-571 THATS surround.
5. Best Price? BLOWN AWAY and JACOB'S LADDER--10 bones ea, with quality to boot (5.1+WS)
6. Most Watched? MUMMY: UE tastes great, less filling.
7. Least Watched? TITUS tho i'm told it should knock my socks off, my girl's just not down, and I've not the time for a solo mission.
8. Least Features? i can't pick one. there's quite a few flicks that either havent or wont get better, but i hadta have em. someone heard my bitchin tho:MP&THG hits soon!
9. Big Impulse Buy? The GIFT...but that worked out well
10. Overall Best? GLADIATOR
11. Total # of discs?...oi! i dunno >100, but its a ton
12.Worst case? tie: The SOPRANOS & AKIRA LE TIN based solely on the fact that they're bitches! while they're both shexxxy, I feel that i'll break a disc EVERY time i try to pop out Akira, and with the Sopranos, i just dont like having a huge case unfolded across my arms as i juggle the old disc out, new disc in switch.

ahhhh.
sorry that was so long even with an answer template, but what can i say, im annoying.

1. Best Packaging - I want to say Fight Club, but lets go with T2:UE
2. Best Booklet - Chasing Amy Criterion. Best Extras - for highest quality of commentaries and extras.. Contact then SE7EN
4. Best Sound - Air Force One. Fighter jets rip to room apart when they fly by
5. Best Price - Pi $9.99
6. Most Watched - Ultimate Toy Box for the THX trailers.
7. Least Watched - Boxing Helena
8. Least Features - Fifth Element
9. Big Impulse Buy - Das Boot. Wow what a great buy, had never seen it b4 that.
10. Overall Best - Fight Club. i used to say Contact immediately when asked what my best disc was but watched it again recently and the sound and picture quality doesnt hold up to newer releases.
11. Total # of discs - 275 and counting... Star Wars should be #300. hows that for a milestone disc?

1. Best Packaging: Hub style cases (Fight Club, SE7EN, Boogie Nights). The T2 packaging is cool, but itz nothing more than a regular amaray keep case wrapped up in metal slip case (with a paper insert to boot), whereas the aforementioned hub style cases are composed of originally constructed packaging which makes you feel like you're reading a book...hey, I think itz cool).

2. Best Booklet: Fight Club (gotta love the gritty look that it has...and itz a good read too).

3. Best Extras: T2:UE/Fight Club (although the presentation of the Fight Club extras was a bit better organized and more enjoyable overall. The T2 extras were just a HUGE load of information...nothing wrong with that, though).

4. Best Sound: Surprisingly, Requiem For A Dream (really utilizes all 5 speakers, and the rear channels are very well defined).

5. Best Price: Phantasm (a sub par movie, but decent extras for $17 Canadian).

6. Most Watched: The Evil Dead (my favourite film), Fight Club, The unrestored Stanley Kubrick Collection (I can't get enough of Kubrick), Requiem For A Dream.

7. Least Watched: Bram Stoker's Dracula (the movie's good, but the disc totally sucks, even the menus aren't presented well).

8. Least Features: Yet again, Columbia's bare bones release of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

9. Big Impulse Buy: My first 2 DVDs - The Evil Dead: Special Collector's Edition and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Special Edition. The thing is, I didn't even have a DVD player yet when I purchased these 2 gems, so it was pretty impulsive of me to do something like that (and the rest, as they say, is history).

10. Overall Best: Fight Club (a DVD masterpiece, 'nuff said).

11. Total # of discs: 61
