I said in the other thread that I couldn't vote because I didn't get a new release in April, but I just bought Spider-Man 2.1 today so I will give my vote to it. Even though it is a cash grab to get in on the sequel's hype, you have to give Sony credit for making it a valid reissue, with new extras that don't repeat the original release's material, including a new commentary. They have done a lot less with cash grabs in the past (such as the Deluxe Edition of the original Spider-Man released to cash in on 2's theatrical release in 2004, which simply repackaged the exsisting 2-disc set with a promo disc for the sequel.) That's why I double dipped, and that's why I think it deserves my vote. Not that it will win, but there you go.

Yeah, but it's worth trying again every once in a while. I would have voted if I had seen either of the two DVDs, but I haven't. May, though, has some truly exellent loaded releases for which I am going through all the extras (Dreamgirls, Pan's Labyrinth), so it should be interesting to see that thread.
