Netflix's 'Watch Now' Feature

I just noticed that NF has a new tab called Watch Now (who knows how long it's been there). It's streaming films and TV shows and there's a pretty good selection so far. The service is included with your membership and the video quality is pretty good.

Just wanted to give you NF subscribers a heads up.

I've been using it for more than a month. When I heard it was being tested, I happend to find the option to turn it on buried in my account settings and have been watchign since. It is really pretty nice.

My only complaint really is the inability to fine tune fast fowards or rewinds or to bookmark/remember where you last left off. You have to use the slider ot navigate to the minutes you want and if you need to come back to it some other day you have to make note of your timestamp where you left

If you are just guessing, you spend a lot of time scanning ahead, waiting for it to cue up and then changing agian.

I didn't know this was there. I just tried it but my system at work is not compatible which is too bad because my hope was to be able to listen to a movie while I work.

I will still have to try this at home though.

I've been using it for over a month. It's really good for some of those documentaries that you sort of want to see but don't want to waste a rental on. An hour for each $1 you pay a month. Not bad at all. I'll never watch my free 18 hours.

The bad thing is that I think it limits your movie selections based on the speed of your connections. I will try it though at some point.

tried it at home with...The Italian Job (couldnt remember the movie for a second). It worked really well. Watched it full screen on my 24 monitor and was very impressed with the quality. No slow down either. now if only I could do it at work. It would be cool if they did it with DVD Commentaries as well.
