Way to fuck up a cover by not using the beautiful original poster artwork!

Great film though, one of Fincher's best.

Is it coming to HD-DVD?? I thought I had read it's only coming to Blu-Ray, but I could be mistaken.

It's not been announced for either yet. Paramount usually releases for both formats, though.

Very good! I'm surprised there will be no 2-Disc SE also available same day. The cover isn't THAT bad though but i do prefer the one sheet instead.

Great movie and I'm sad to see there isn't SE coming out. I might have to wait and see if they come out with an SE some day. Which I think they probably will. I also do not really like the cover art, I hate the fact that there faces are on it and it says "Based On A True Story" right in the front. Very lame IMO.

I missed this one, heard it was too long, but still want to see it. Probably rent it before buying.

The trailers for this looked good, but I never ended up seeing it in theaters. I'll rent.

Looking forward to this one. I really enjoy movies based on this type of material.

Nice to see Downey finally get his shit together.

As much as I enjoyed it in theaters, I to am going to hold off for the Director's Cut. It is supposed to have some docu's w/ survivors and the two main cops who were on the case. Nonetheless, I did enjoy it. It was a pretty cerebral movie and it is kind of spooky to think that the guy could still be alive. The movie is worth it just to see Downey's performance; classic. I have a cryptogram book (I'm a cryptogram addict!) and in the back they have the unsolved ZODIAC letters that were sent to the SF Chronicle. I'll let you know if I solve them......

I hope the director's cut injects some energy into the film - I found this to be very boring compared to se7en.
