Where's The Exorcist II on DVD

Ahhhh there's nothing more embarresing than having an anticipated sequel to a huge blockbuster that was loved by critics and moviegoers. Exorcist II is a fine example of the theory that nothing is ever a sure thing in Hollywood. The original has been released on DVD 3 times, and The Exorcist III was released a few years ago, but where is that infamous sequel! A single disc with both 110 minute and 117 minute versions, Dolby 5.1, Anamorphic Widescreen, and trailers would be more than enough. A John Boorman commentary would be nice, but I doubt he'll ever want to revisit this movie.

Isn't it odd how horror series on DVD have a lot of holes in them? The middle children of these series get ignored for some reason...

Hellraiser
1, 2, 4, 5 = fine
3 = missing (unless that crap Canada disc counts?)

Phantasm
1, 4 = fine
2, 3 = missing (c'mon, Universal!)

Exorcist
1.0, 1.1, 3 = fine
2 = missing (and probably not a lot of complaints...

Candyman
1, 3 = fine
2 = missing (until August 28th, at least)

Texas Chainsaw
1, 2, 4 = fine
3 = MIA (and, c'mon, this one is loads better than 4)

To add to the list above, Child's Play 3 is the only in the series missing from DVD.

That is THE WORST transfer I have ever seen.
Pointing a VHS camera at the movie screen would probably look better than this.

There's also Poltergeist II & III (no word on these being released yet)
Gremlins 2 (perhaps a 2002 release)
When A Stranger Calls (the second one is available. The first will be out this year.)
