The Tonight Show

Johnny Carson.com has a box set of episodes and best of stuff from the last 30 years on dvd. Its probly the same as the laserdisc box set that was out. the thing is the price is the same, It's like 80 dollars! As lame as it seems ive been waiting for this to come out and never bought the laserdisc. Anybody know anyplace else that has this for a normal price? Anyone acctually think i should spend that kind of money on a 3 disc dvd box set?
thanks
Den

i know VHS is satan, but these are available on that format, probably for far cheaper. and seeing as they originally came on TV...

my grandfather has these, the print quality is decent, and i can't imagine watching these so much you'd wear them out. you could probably get all 3 tapes for like $30 somewhere.

I've wanted these since I saw the infomercial for the VHS tapes several months ago.

But 80 bucks plus shipping for 3 discs? I dunno... This is just like the Cosmos and Koyannisquatsi discss..

Maybe i can get it previously viewed some day or something. Thats an interesting disscussion though. How many things are on DVD that you cant get in your dvd stores, at amazon or the other dvd sites? I saw Elvira and the Blob and stuff in pathmark from some werid company and i can't find them online, just the real versions. Not that im looking but was just curious.
