Good scene to test shadow definition?

I recently (finally!) picked up Avia and am in the middle of calibrating my set. I was just wondering if people could offer a few examples of scenes that show good shadow detail, as I've often read in reviews that a certain disc "has good shadow detail and the blacks are right on" vs other disks where "the blacks are murky and shadow detail was poor". So if someone could offer some good examples so I can see if I've calibrated that aspect correctly (because to me, testing the calibrations using "real-world" is important), that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Did you know there's a new "Video Essentials" due in November at an MSRP of $25? I had been meaning to get the Avia disc, but now I'm not so sure.

Yes I know, I actually picked up avia last week, like what 5 days before I found out about the new VE disc? Oh well. If there are any other scenes you guys can think of that would be great (the more, the merrier!)
