Your Favourite Movie Adapted From Television

I was going through my DVD/LD collection and was surprised at how many titles originate directly from old television shows. I guess my favourite would have to be 'The Fugitive' with Harrison Ford. I enjoyed this one more than the others because it was able to maintain a high level of tension for the better part of the movie. It had tons of mystery and action. And it had that sensational train/bus crash sequence!

So, Which one is your favourite?

I'd have to agree. Before I even read the content of your thread, based on the title alone, that was my pick as well.

Though both were spawned by real-life events, 'The Untouchables' was a very good t.v. - movie translation. Kudos to 'Transformers - The Movie' as well

Charlies Angels was great for ninety minutes of Drew Barrymore showing off her breasts.

Ernest Hemingway once wrote, "The world is a fine place and worth fighting for." I agree with the second part...

A curious mix of the best and worst in motion picture entertainment--that's right, it's Filmmaker's DVDTracker list!
...and the fun doesn't stop there--check out how the madness all began with Filmmaker's Laserdisc Tracker list!

Heat, which was basically a remake of a made-for-TV movie called L.A. Takedown.

MUNSTERS, GO HOME, the only appearance of Herman and clan that I found amusing.

ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES, a real hoot.

Worst: THE NUDE BOMB(a Get Smart! movie) and THE AVENGERS.

Hey I saw The Nude Bomb when it came out! I just remember them all fighting in a Busby Berkley-like coreographed fight at the end. And something about his shoe-phone...

On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.

I like most of the choices above, but recently I'd have to say Traffic, since it was based on a BBC miniseries.

If the old show was your thing, the two Brady Bunch movies were pretty good too.
